‘Nigeria needs law to protect digital rights’

A civil society, Accountability Lab Nigeria has said there is a need for the country to evolve a law to protect digital rights. The organisation called on the Federal Government to work with the National Assembly to ensure the passage of the Digital Rights and Freedom Bill. It argued that a law that protects digital rights was pertinent to the nation’s progress. Groups meet FSRC, police, seek road ethics reform

The gender gap and economic participation of women in Pakistan

Pakistan presently ranks among the worst countries in the world in terms of gender parity, only performing better than Iraq, Yemen, and Afghanistan. According to the "Global Gender Gap Report 2021" published by the World Economic Forum (WEF), Pakistan ranked 153rd out of 156 countries on the gender parity index.
