Bishir Dauda is a human rights activist, development work advocate, public affairs analyst, essayist and champion of Open Government Partnership in Nigeria. He coordinated the campaign tagged “Vote Not Fight, Election No Be War” in Katsina state during the 2019 general elections. He is also the Ambassador of Freedom of Information Act (FOI) in Katsina under the platform of “The Future Project.”

Based in Katsina, Bishir founded a non-profit organization called Citizens Participation Against Corruption Initiative, aimed at promoting citizen participation in the fight against corruption. It also conducts advocacy around achieving transparent, open and accountable government in Nigeria.

He is currently working on a project that aims to strengthen the spirit of co-creation in governance at state and local government level in Katsina state.
