Five Public Servants Win Accountability Lab Integrity Icons Awards

Accountability Lab in its commitment to promote integrity in Liberia’s public service sector has awarded five public servants the Integrity Icons of the Year 2022. The Integrity Icon Awards is an annual event that recognizes and awards honest public servants who display integrity on their job. This year marks the eighth edition of the Integrity Icon which is an eight-month-long program that focuses on a rigorous campaign to select dedicated individuals who are working in the public sector. Accountability Lab Liberia Wants Citizens To Get Involved in Nominating this Year’s Integrity Icon

Accountability Lab Liberia has launched an eight month campaign process that begins with the nominations of public servants across the country through a rigorous vetting process. Making the disclosure at the office on Carey Street, the Country Director of Accountability Lab Liberia Lawrence Yealue said there are more good people in Liberia than bad people adding that the good people need to be celebrated. Accountability Lab Liberia Unveils 2020 Integrity Icons

The Accountability Lab Liberia, a non-profit organization working in the field of active citizenship and good governance has selected five persons from the education, security, health, anti-corruption, and infrastructure development sector as Integrity Icons for 2020. Accountability Lab Launches 2020 Hunt for Integrity Icon

Accountability Lab has launched its 2020 hunt for Liberia's Integrity Icon. The ceremony took place recently in Monrovia. Integrity Icon, previously branded as Integrity Idol, has worked to showcase honest public servants in a country that perennially ranks at the bottom of corruption indices. It was launched in Liberia in 2015 and has so far honored 25 civil servants and public officials for being honest in their duties and helping to transform society.
