Ajeeba Aslam is a social development professional with over two decades of professional and volunteer experience of working on development and humanitarian issues in Pakistan, Malawi, Tajikistan, Syria and Jordan. She is the founding chairperson of Foundation for Ageing and Inclusive Development (FAID-Age Friendly Pakistan), an initiative working for the wellbeing of older people in Pakistan. Aamer Hayat is a farmer from the small district of South Punjab and was an elected member of the district council's third tier of the government in Pakistan between 2016 & 2019. Hassan Raza is a student of entomology at the Agriculture University Multan. He is an active participant of Young Students Peace Society and he is inspired by a University program at his sister University that works to provide free education to children who, due to poverty, fell into child labour. Muhammad Sarim Imran (Saro Imran) is a young transgender activist and entrepreneur. Suman Ali Lashari is a young human right activist. At the age of 18 in 2016, she survived an acid attack from her 40-year old brother in-law whose marriage proposal she had rejected. In 2018, after fighting for 17 months, she won her battle for justice. Suman is now working on legislation for acid attack crime and the licensing of open sale acid in Pakistan. Ammarah Shah is a social entrepreneur educationist who designs content for children narrated through modern storytelling techniques, online as well as offline. She is a master of puppetry, origami and an experienced public speaker in the local debating circuit. “Content for kids is being produced in written as well as in digital form but the motivation for a kid to chose a book over screen is lacking,” explains Anmarah. “I think more than producing more and more stories, what matters is that we update the medium of transferring the content to the children understanding their level of understanding.”
