Said Rassol

Said Rassol is a young journalist from the tribal area of the Frontier region Tank and a Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication graduate from the university of Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. He started his journalism career in 2012 as a radio broadcaster for the Global FM 91 Dera Ismail Khan. Beside education, he continued his journalist work with many media organizations. His incubator idea is to ensure dissemination of authentic information during the pandemic in Peshawar.

Roland Marikiti

Roland Marikiti is a youth activist hailing from Mutoko who is passionate about fighting for the social and economic inclusion of minority and vulnerable populations including the LGBTQ. Roland is the founder and executive director of Kushinga Association Zimbabwe Trust. Through the support of the incubator, the organisation will strive to ensure availability, access to, and delivery of quality HIV care and treatment services during the Covid-19 pandemic. Halima Idris

Halima Idris hails from Bauchi State and is an alumnus of the Kennedy-Lugar Youth and Exchange Study program of the United States Department of State. She's passionate about holding elected representatives accountable and, through the incubator, is developing the Beyond Election Candidate Accountability Project (BECAP) for this purpose. BECAP is a sensitization and awareness campaign that aims to help communities hold political candidates accountable for the promises they made during their election campaigns by equipping citizens with knowledge and training.

Catherine Ugochinyere Stephen

Catherine Ugochinyere Stephen is an Education Counselor and women's advocate based in Abuja. She is also a member of the Young African Leaders Initiative Network and likes to counsel children and adolescents. Through the incubator, Catherine is building Cathy Ventures, an anonymous accountable platform that can raise tuition for children from poor backgrounds who would otherwise not be able to access education. Anne Obode

Anne Obode is an entrepreneur, startup business coach, speaker, blogger and podcaster based in Abuja. She is also the founder of the SecureMe initiative that aims to use digital methods to solve the problem of insecurity in Africa. Through the incubator, Anne is developing an application called Secureme.ng that will combat crime in Nigeria by using technology to enhance the means of communication between victims of crime and the police. The impact of this project would be increases in both the levels of security in Nigeria and accountability on the part of the Nigerian Police.

Lilian Elochukwu Efobi is a Lagos-based advocate of quality education for all, good governance, accountability, transparency, and youth inclusion in the governance process. Through the incubator, she is developing the Governance Barometer Project, a monitoring and evaluation mechanism which will collect and measure data that contributes to the overall national development of Nigeria. Through her Governance Barometer, she will measure the performance of elected political leaders and appointed public servants through certain defined metrics.

Yusuf Temilola Nurudeen

Yusuf Temilola Nurudeen is Senior Associate at the Legal Hub Partnership in Lagos. He is also the Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association Young Lawyers Forum, Ikeja Branch, where he administers the implementation of ideas and policies related to capacity development, mentorship, and the welfare of 500 young lawyers. Through the support of the incubator, he is developing The Pro Bono Centre, an initiative that provides pro-bono legal services to victims of injustice including those who have been wrongfully incarcerated.

Rachel Affiong Umoh is a psychotherapist, counselor, disability advocate, humanitarian aid worker and a freelance journalist with freedom radio in Kaduna State. She is also the founder and CEO of TWIM (The Wonder In Me) an NGO that supports the rehabilitation of the most vulnerable including persons with disabilities (PWDs), internally displaced people and persons living with psychological disorders. Through the incubator, she is developing a project that will increase access to participation in elections for PWDs in Nigeria.
