Aminata Djamancau is a law graduate from the Colinas de Boé University where she is currently an Assistant Professor. She is a Jurist for the Guinea-Bissau Court of Auditors and has participated in the YALI Regional training program in the field of Business & Entrepreneurship. Animata was also a collaborator for the AfDB (African Development Bank) Representation in Guinea-Bissau where she supported with collecting product prices in different markets in the country between 2014 and 2016. Kuda Mapeture

Kuda Mapeture is a young activist with a hearing impairment. She is the founder of Miss Deaf Trust Zimbabwe, an NGO which focuses on empowering and advocating for the rights of Deaf young girls and women. The organization works on various initiatives to improve the lives of deaf young women and girls, advocating for their rights and pioneering programs that help to fight against discrimination and all forms of violence against young deaf women. Kuda intends to develop this initiative further with the support of the incubator.

Noreen Asekenye

Noreen is enthusiastic about telling people's stories to influence change. Through Tell a Story Foundation Uganda, she aims to revitalize hope in vulnerable communities. Robert is a young people's developer from Masindi and an "Advocacy Inspirator" with experience in digital advocacy for good governance, women's rights, and sustainable livelihoods as well as social accountability. He is passionate about supporting young people to reclaim power over social constructions, injustices and discrimination through community mobilisation. He works to help young people exercise their rights to strong civic roles in their communities. Ruth Atim

Ruth is a journalist who's worked for both broadcast and print media. In 2019, she was shortlisted as a finalist in the Isu Elihle awards, a South African Media award that rewards innovative journalism about children. Ruth also co-founded the Gender Tech initiative-Uganda, a not-for-profit organisation that empowers women (mostly journalists) with digital safety and security skills and digital literacy skills. Caroline Mutimbanyoka

Caroline Mutimbanyoka is a Harare-based human rights activist, feminist and Pan-Africanist educator who has sought to amplify the voices of women and girls throughout her career. Caroline is the founder of Sprout Women Empowerment Trust, a community based organization that has become a voice for the underprivileged women in peri-urban areas. Through Sprout, Caroline advocates for women's rights, service delivery and food justice so as to enhance the livelihoods of women in her community and plans to develop the initiative further through the incubator.

Courteney Takura Mukoyi

Courteney Takura Mukoyi is a Mutare-based LLB graduate from Midlands State University. He has worked with the Judicial Service Commission, National Prosecuting Authority, Tandiri Law Chambers and ZINASU. Through the incubator, he is developing a first of its kind, human rights remedy mobile phone application which will equip citizens with knowledge on their civil and political rights as well as accountability related rights. It will also guide them what to do when their rights are violated, who can assist them and even provide a video recording option for evidence collection.

Custody Chikambure is an entrepreneur passionate about developing profitable financial schemes and igniting the potential of business to drive social good. His incubator project is G.O.E.L Computer Educational Initiative, a set of online platforms he will share information related to Covid-19 and how best young people can stay safe by practising safety precautions. He is also working on software that can help notify healthy practitioners about possible Covid-19 cases.

Descent Dube

Descent Dube is the Founder and the Executive Director of a youth organisation called Matobo Youth Development Initiative (MYDI). Based in Matobo, Descent is passionate about community mobilisation through active youth participation. His incubator project is aimed at ensuring young people can access information and participate in community dialogue and policy making processes. Ultimately, he wants to equip young people to become responsible citizens and occupy leadership positions in civil society.

Mthokozisi Ndebele

Mthokozisi Ndebele has ten years' experience in Zimbabwe's civil society sector focusing on development communications, project design implementation and monitoring. Based in Bulawayo, Mthokozisi is currently with the Women's Institute for Leadership Development. Through the incubator, he is developing the Gender Accountability for Peace and Security (GAPS) project which seeks to fight gender inequity by increasing citizen's access to public information. The project specifically focuses on Matabeleland North and seeks to monitor the disbursement of the "Devolution Funds" and their subsequent use across the seven districts.
