Government tasked on implementation of PPA, FOI Acts to fight corruption

The CSOs said corrupt officials would continue to manipulate laws unless the various governments increase the tempo of all enacted laws. Lack of inclusive governance fuelling insecurity – NGO’s allege

Public Service Bureau Hosts Roundtable On National Ethics, Integrity Policy

‘Nigeria needs law to protect digital rights’

A civil society, Accountability Lab Nigeria has said there is a need for the country to evolve a law to protect digital rights. The organisation called on the Federal Government to work with the National Assembly to ensure the passage of the Digital Rights and Freedom Bill. Groups meet FSRC, police, seek road ethics reform

The Accountability Lab Nigeria, in conjunction with the Akin Fadeyi Foundation, on Thursday, held a roundtable discussion on road ethics reform with the Federal Road Safety Corps, at the Federal Capital Territory Sector Command in Abuja. Each bribe-paying Nigerian loses N28,200 annually – Accountability Lab

A global anti-corruption organisation, Accountability Lab Nigeria, has expressed concerns over the level of corruption in the procurement and contracting processes in the country. The group said this had resulted in the loss of billions of dollars by the country, stressing that bribe-paying Nigerians spend an average of N28,200 annually on cash bribes.
