Accountability Lab Challenges Government to be Transparent in COVID-19 Fight

Monrovia, Liberia: Civil Society group, Accountability Lab is urging stakeholders fighting killer virus Corona, to consider accountability and transparency as key pillows in the national effort. Accountability Lab Country Director Lawrence Yealue suggested that the procurement process and beneficial ownership associated with the fight, need to be opened because according to him, Liberia is a signatory to the global open governance initiatives. Speaking Truth to Power in Punjab Province

Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Yet there isn’t much sunlight being thrown on local government in Pakistan. The major media outlets focus their coverage on national politics or the big cities.
