Shrisha Nepal

Shrisha is currently working as a project coordinator at Jibiko Media. Her idea for the Incubator program is to start a women's podcast. The podcast will highlight struggles and successes of women in different economic sectors in Nepal. She aims to get conversations started about women’s journeys in competing and thriving in male dominant sectors and also celebrate the success stories of women who have been making remarkable differences in diverse areas. Previously, she has worked as a reporter at Wave magazine and as a communication officer at Feminist Dalit Organization (FEDO).

Prawesh Gautam

Prawesh is an MBA graduate and is currently a faculty at Pokhara College of Management and La Grandee International College. Prawesh was a fellow at Pokhara Research Centre’s Pre-Professional Parliamentary Support Program (PPSP). During his fellowship, his belief that it is important for youth to put themselves into civic knowledge and public policy formation was reinforced. Pabitra Khadka

Pabitra is currently working as a resident theatre artist at Shilpee Theatre. Her idea for the incubator is to empower local artists and enhance their capabilities to raise awareness about gender-based violence. She will encourage local artists to participate in this journey of activism through workshops and develop their abilities to use real life experiences from the local context. She plans to work with the rural communities where theatre has never reached. Dharma Raj Rimal

Dharma is currently working as the content coordinator at Jibiko Media initiatives. Through Incubator, he wants to take his initiative jibiko.com, an online media focused on skills, employment, labour dignity, youth and entrepreneurship forward. As Nepal lacks a youth-focused media to provide accurate and factual information to youth, his initiative will contribute in filling the gap and provide right guidance to the youth. Anamika Tiwari

Anamika is a public health graduate and is currently working as a Research Officer at the Pokhara Research Center. Anamika’s idea for the incubator program is to enable young women and children to speak up against harassment in her hometown of Birgunj. Laxmi Prasad Paudyal

Laxmi is a Research Manager at the Hriti Foundation, a public policy think tank in Surkhet. He has long-term experience in journalism and has been affiliated with various newspapers. He is also secretary of Tanneri Chaso, a youth network based in Surkhet and a communication coordinator of Karnali Utsav, Kuda Karnalika. He is pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Tribhuvan University. With his passion to work on government accountability, his idea for the incubator is to document and track the activities of MPs and the provincial assembly of Karnali province through an online platform.

Sandhya Acharya

Sandhya began her journey for social change by engaging in a theater series where she led and organized over 35 forum theaters, covering issues of domestic violence and gender inequality. This journey deepened her knowledge and provided first-hand experience on issues concerning women and girls. Gauri Shankar Sah

Gauri Shankar Sah is the Program Manager at Municipal Association of Nepal (MuAN) in Province 2 which is an umbrella organization representing the collective voices of all the municipalities in Nepal. Neetu Sen

Neetu Sen is a business administration student from Biratnagar with a passion for reading and learning. Currently working for the "CivActs Coronavirus Campaign" initiated by Accountability Lab Nepal, she works to debunk rumors and disseminate facts related to COVID-19 and government initiatives to narrow the information gap between citizens and the government. Through the incubator platform, she hopes to create a platform that can be utilized to inform people about their rights and raise their voices, particularly those of marginalized and other disadvantaged communities.

Sanju Dhakal

With the aim of building a career in the humanitarian sector, Sanju enrolled herself for a Bachelor in Social Work and Journalism degree after high school. As an undergraduate student of social work, she understood the importance of NGOs, INGOs, and local organizations and started dedicating her time to volunteering. She also wrote articles covering issues of national importance and digital advocacy in her community.
