INVISIBLE WEAVERS

Join a global peer space where your stitching superpower matters — and where your story can be told in the way you need, from your home to the global stage. The ability to navigate across sectors, keep a stubborn focus on solving the problems people care about, and quietly build bridges behind the scenes is exactly what’s needed in today’s uncertain world.

Discover how invisible weavers live their strategies here.

WHY THIS? AND WHY NOW?

Invisible weavers aren’t new — you’ve always been here and kept communities stitched together through political upheavals, pandemics, funding cuts, and shocks. Weavers are the unseen strength holding our communities together in different ways.

Our Weavers’ Workshops are spaces for your work to connect, strengthen, and shine. We help you grow your own bag of tricks so you can strengthen weaving in your own community, with your people, in your own way.

WHAT INVISIBLE WEAVERS DO

WEAVERS IN ACTION

We come from Argentina and Zimbabwe – two nations where hyperinflation, political shocks, polarization and sudden donor withdrawals are the norm. We learned early to maintain two budgets: one in local currency eroding by the day, another in stable dollars for international partners. This isn’t exotic “mental-model agility”, it’s crisis muscle memory. We’ve seen and supported clinics stay open despite empty pharmacies, teachers relocate classes under trees when schools housed flood victims, and neighbors barter essentials without waiting for a policy memo.

WHY YOU CAN TRUST US

  • We’ve walked beside invisible weavers for decades and opened global spaces – learning, connecting, reducing power asymmetries, and adapting.

  • We’ve worked with weavers in Zimbabwe, Argentina, Indonesia, Tajikistan, Nepal —and seen firsthand how local trust sparks real solutions.
  • In Brazil, we piloted approaches to bridge ideological divides – legislators, community actors, academics, public officials, private sector associations – and helped them co-create paths to solve problems communities care about.
  • Small gatherings (Morocco → Moldova → Malawi → Mongolia) revealed shared weaving strategies and led to coordinated knowledge work & new narratives.
  • From global to regional organizations to young Latin American grassroot activists and municipal bureaucrats, we test, listen, and refine—always respectful, never extractive.

We’re here to build that bridge – local to global – on the foundation of relationships and lived experience.

  • Free DYI Facilitation Guides will soon be available to add to your Bag of Weavers’ Tricks and for Weaver-to-Weaver chats.
  • We’ll be launching opportunities and tools to ‘story-do’ and inform resonant narratives.
  • We’re expanding our change-making story maps.
