Accountability Lab was founded to support and connect people demanding better governance solutions for service delivery and accountability challenges in their communities. Today, we use our platforms and proximity to amplify the voices, skills, and resources of local activists, journalists, artists, and organizers working to hold people in power to account.

Our process
We are motivated by a world in which resources are used wisely, decisions benefit everyone fairly, and people lead secure lives. We therefore see accountability as a value not a theme - a way of working that infuses everything we do, and support others to do. Since our founding in 2012, we have grown into a global translocal network of Labs, building an ecosystem for accountability around the world.
