Accountability Lab’s Staff of the Year for 2019
2019 has been filled with many highlights and many lessons, and through the Staff of the Year nomination process we were reminded of how our teams are our strongest assets. Among us we have wonderful ambassadors for our values, creative problem-solvers, and thoughtful network-builders. But, above all else, we are all privileged to work with people who truly care about good governance and the communities where we work.
We are proud to share the Staff of the Year 2019 winners with you!Liberia: John Kamma – Director of the Citizen Bureau For listening and co-creating solutions for the challenges faced by the communities where we work, and equipping others with new skills along the way.
Mali: Doussouba Konate – MEL Officer Pour sa détermination, son travail acharné et pour avoir été une ambassadrice de la vision et des valeurs du Laboratoire. Et pour avoir constamment fait plus que son devoir d’aider l’équipe à réussir.(For her determination, hard work and for being an ambassador for the Lab’s vision and values. And for consistently going above and beyond her duties to help the team succeed.) Mexico: Eva Sander – Country Director For building a strong foundation for Accountability Lab in Mexico while upholding our values, and displaying tenacity and creativity every step of the way.Nepal: Soni Khanal – Learning Manager For living the Lab’s values boldly, staying accountable to the organization and the communities where we work, and always going the extra mile to grow, listen, learn and support others.
Niger: Oumarou Adamou – Country Director Pour sa détermination à renforcer la présence du Laboratoire au Niger et son engagement inébranlable à apporter notre programmation dans un nouvel espace d’une manière responsable. (For his determination in building the Lab’s presence in Niger and an unwavering commitment to bringing our programming to a new space in a responsible manner.) Nigeria: Omojo Adaji – MEL Officer For being a mentor and inspiration to the team, modeling high standards of work and encouraging improved decision-making through shared learning. Pakistan: Bakhtawar Khalid – Program Officer For her tireless commitment to strengthening the Lab’s programs through creative, independent work and building new networks. South Africa: Rabia Abba Omar – Non-Profit Management Fellow For bringing her unique creativity to the Lab’s programs, maintaining high levels of professionalism under pressure and building meaningful relationships with program participants and supporters. Global: Katie Fuhs – Operations and Programs Coordinator For always going the extra mile to support and encourage others while taking ownership of tasks, and challenging herself to learn and explore new things all the time.Related Content
